Course Description:

In this comprehensive hands on program participants will practice step by step the surgical navigation workflow. Guidelines for patient selection will be discussed. Stent fabrication hands on training and treatment planning on treatment planning software will be practiced. Drilling on models utilizing surgical navigation in real time is included. *No course prerequisites are required, course is open to all dental professionals

Course Objective:

Upon completion of this course participants should be able to:
1. Understand the surgical navigation workflow
2. Fabricate a stable stent
3. Understand the treatment planning process prior to surgical implant placement
4. Drill into a drilling model osteotomy utilizing surgical navigation

Ido Bermanis DMD, Navident Clinical Specialist. Dr Bermanis brings over 13 years as a practicing dentist. He obtained a Masters degree in Bio-Medical Sciences. His research thesis focused on the development of an innovative CT-based, 3D biomechanics model of the human mandible designed for biomechanical-orthodontc research
