Principal Software Architect
Dr. Ingmar Bitter earned a PhD in Computer Science in the USA and in Germany the equivalent of a Bachelor in Physics with Minor in Chemistry. For 8 years he focused on research resulting in 40 scientific publications and 10 patents, both revolving around scientific volume rendering software and hardware as well as 3D image analysis and computer aided detection of colon polyps. And for 16 years he focused on the medical imaging industry resulting in the first FDA approved Virtual Colonoscopy system, and becoming the Software Architect and Manager for the rapid application development platform WIF used to build medical analysis applications and surgical guidance systems as well as phone and tablet access to medical images. At ClaroNav he is a Principal Software Architect responsible for improving the automatic dental CT image analysis in order to further streamline the Navident application workflow.
