Learning is an aggressive act – you have to “show up” and attend meetings, practice what you have learned, and then go on to acquire more education. The ICOI is pledged to be with you every step along the way.
– Dennis Smiler, DDS, MScD

When it comes to CE opportunities, dentists who specialize in dental implants look forward to the ICOI Summer Implant Symposium, which was held this year in San Francisco. Since the field is always changing, this symposium provides a great way to learn, connect and stay up to date on the latest advancements. The focus this year was “Knowledge above opinion” and Dr. Smiler, DDS, MScD, was the scientific program chairman.

On the first night, Dr. Smiler gave a speech to set the tone for the weekend. One of the things he told the group was that there would be more dynamic guided CT surgeries.

The technology that’s been promised is now here. It’s understood that technology plays a large role in the medical field, assisting surgeons in complicated procedures. Now it’s time for dentists to benefit more from technological advances, giving them access to more information than they had before, which then enables them to work with more confidence and more precision.

ClaroNav was one of the exhibitors for this symposium, sending a team to represent Navident at booth 108. Jason, our VP of Sales and Marketing, and Ido, our Clinical Specialist, spent the weekend, talking to a steady stream of people. They answered questions, demonstrated how Navident works and made connections. Altogether, it was a successful event.

Our next event is the EAO Congress in Stockholm, Sweden at booth #S04.
